Dr. Jenny Alexander
Dr. Jenny Alexander grew up in Montgomery, AL. She took over this practice in 2011 from her parents, Drs. James and Lilly Alexander. It continues to be a family oriented practice.
Dr. Alexander graduated from Auburn University. She obtained her Medical Degree from St. Matthew's University. She did her Pediatric Residency at Michigan State University/Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners. She is married and has 4 children.

Michelle Kirkland MSN, FNP-BC
Michelle has been with the practice since 2013. She completed her Master's of Science in Nursing from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001. Michelle has served the River Region in Pediatrics and Family practice for approximately 15 years. She and her husband, William, have 3 children.

Jill Fitch
Jill Fitch is a lifelong resident of Alabama. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing. Jill has served the children and adolescents of the River Region, as a Nurse Practitioner, for over seventeen years. Jill enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her fun-loving and cherished three sons. Jill is honored to continue to serve the children and adolescents of the River Region at Alexander Pediatrics.

Amanda Nummy MSN, FNP-BC
Amanda is a family nurse practitioner, board-certified by AANP. She graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2015 and received her Master’s Degree from Auburn University in 2020. Prior to joining the Alexander Pediatrics, she cared for patients ranging in all ages in the River Region area. Amanda is married to her husband, Jacob, who she shares one son with. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends. Amanda looks forward to providing excellent patient centered care to the ones who mean the most to you.
